Have you noticed that the inventory levels for our highest selling products are being reduced? I complained about it to a manager yesterday and was advised that Lowe's doesn't have quite the purchasing power they once held. Corporate has told our freezer vendor not to send freezers to our stores. I live in hunting land and people want to spend the money for the huge freezers but I just can't get them. First come first serve. I'm selling out all of my display models but who cares? Not corporate.

Thats the problem with the credit crunch. Lots of companies are being affected to where merchandise is not being sold to them. Especially hit is the soft lines companies (IE Macy's/sears). Have you ICB'ed the freezers from other strores in your area.

LOL, don't ICB anything from our store. You can expect about a 2 week delay in getting the product to your store. Unless you send your own delivery team out to us, your out of luck.

I was the only one in the state who had the specific freezer to have on display. No one else anywhere near me had one. Even if they did freezers are like gold so no way to get one. A customer actually called CCIC to make certain that she received the freezer in question. Lucky for her that I had not unboxed my display model for that one, it's hers now.
Just sad oh so very sad. I hardly wait for the nationwide backorder on Dysons another traditional gift.

We don't have the outside delivery service in my state which is often a good thing. Our guys can go get an emergency ICB once in a while. But some stores are cracking down on it so badly that they are turning customers away. Also, we are only allowed to send them to pick up the ICB's on Wednesdays. We are supposed to send the customers to the other store to purchase the product. My ZM had e-mailed corporate about using that web sale crap and seeing how that plays into our spiff. They said that at this time there is nothing they can do about insuring that the actual salesperson receives the spiff. They would prefer to have web based sales that way there isn't a spiff at all.

Reminds me of the Army. We always did training on Wednesdays. Every office is closed due to this weekly training BS.
