I have noticed that the way the forums are, each workplace having their own, it seems to limit communication between various workplaces.
Of course each do have their specific workplace issues but it seems the company problems get more air than problems or issues the workers may have. (I'm assuming that we're here to support each other in our workplace and not to further the employers cause). Would mixing it up be beneficial?
Anyway I wondered what everyone thought if we might not benefit if the forums took on a less segregated format.
Something along the lines of the MFD forum maybe? What do you guys and gals think.
Should we stay divided by workplace or work toward united by circumstance?

My reasoning is that each company has its own unique problems that is faced everyday. Sure, every company does have some of the same problems but Sears is different from Kroger as far as product, prices, ect. that don't pertain to each other. But...

How many here visit the threads not pertaining to thier own workplace? How often do you visit your forum neighbors, if at all?

Sometimes I do. Sometimes someone from another forum will post something that we can throw out as well. Though, it doesn't happen very often.

Each company has it's unique problems but workers issues are the same across the board; No respect, poor pay, little in the way of benefits and a constant struggle to keep our jobs and our heads above water while the company does whatever they want and merrily profits on. What's wrong with this picture?

The rich keep getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. Companies will do anything to show a profit and the CEO's that run them want to line their own pockets with the "rewards". We see it everyday. Look at what happened at Enron. The CEO and upper management lied to their employees, shareholders, and anyone else associated with that company. WHILE, they collected millions of dollars on those lies. Almost happened with AMR. Carty and his "team" lied as well but were caught. How sad.

The chat thing might be a good way to bring all the forums talking with each other.
Instead of changing the site layout. ~GoodFella

I for one would like a bit of change in the "site" lay-out, it is who or whom one is laying with that I question?
And maybe the "chat" might make some things clearer to us all.
If it is allowed to be a "free" forum...
