Did anyone perform or even know about the new clocking out process at closing that was supposed to start tonight?

What are your thoughts?

Got the email. Seems pretty much the way our store has been doing it all along.

Sounds like someone brought suit against the company, If associates clock out and couldn't get the closing manager to let them out and were waiting for someone to come and unlock the door is what it sounds like what brought this on.

We had the same problem at Sears, The closing manager would check the area to see if it was ready for the next day and if so would release the associate, when the associate would clock out and get to the door someone needed to be there to let them out. Problem was how many key holders were on that night. The associates would get pissed because they were being "Held" without pay.

I think they also want to get everyone closing on camera clocking out. I know at my store the doors are locked but a soft lock not with a key. A cashier stands there to check bags and relock the doors. Don't know how that would be changed. So far nothing.
