Lowe's used to list all future stores in the LoweDown but for some reason they quit doing this. I tried looking on myloweslife but couldn't find anything, thier are some under press releases but they are like two years old. Well anyway does anybody now where I can find a list of the future stores.?

With todays business enviroment I doubt they want to do that anymore. Reason being is imagine being the district or area hr and getting TONS of calls over and over again.

Unemployment is high and if word leaks out I'm sure people would start calling...

It's also very hard to predict when a store would open. There's one near me that opened earlier this year...well this store was rumored back around 2005/2006...it took a few YEARS at least before anything was done. Another store took maybe three to four years because it is in a new development. The vermont store took I think maybe six years.

Unless it's a retrofit of a previous box store I doubt it can happen fast. The process of making a store takes awhile. They probably look at demographics...there's a store survey that is done by a sm to see what should and shouldn't be carried.

They'll announce things when they are 100% sure of it first. There's no need to try to create rumors that linger for years...
