Day after day we come to the message boards to agree on some things and disagree on others. On Tuesday November 11th lets remember those who fought and those who died to give us the right to do this. I don't know if our stores or company will do or say anything, but we can. Join me in saying thanks to those who gave for us to have what we do.

Lowes looks at Veterans day one way: Sales! Yeah, look at that money come in, my how my fat bonus is going to look like this year! And to think that some of my employees wanted the day off, no way. . .oh yeah, someone said it was to honor those who gave some or gave all.
Joking aside, I am proud of all those who have served and payed for this great country. And to think some Lowes emloyees may be veterans or relatives of their past-away family members--hits closer to home.

Our store has a reservist who recently returned to work after having served in Baghdad. A personal "Thank YOU!" to him--and I hope they gave the guy the day off!
