Hello, I work in a Midwestern Home Depot, and I received a phone call last night that I would not have to go to work today. Our Inventory is in less than 2 weeks and we are behind in tagging. We had a "walk through" about a week ago and everyone was working Over Time to make the store look like it should everyday, I wish a visit would be a surprise and let the ASM's and store manager sweat it out.
We also were informed that hats (of any kind) may no longer be worn by employees. This move is on of the stupidest things I have seen yet, they want to present a different look.
The Depot used to be a great place to work, over the last almost 2 years I have seen some changes that appear to be weeding out the knowledgeable workers for mindless drones.
