I saw "The Passion of the Christ" tonight. I was very powerful and well made. It was NOT anti-semitic in any way. It was indeed bloody and violent...just like the real acts were.

The best quote I saw about it was "If you liked the book you will like the movie" Indeed the reverse is also true. I have read at least 20 reviews of the movie. More good than bad. I have found the negative reviews to be based more on politics and theology than the movie itself. It is a true work of art and love. Many people in the theater were sobbing in the last 20 minutes. If you are a believer then you will probably be moved and impressed. If you are not then the movie is probably not for you.

Not sure why I wrote this review, but the power of this movie made me want to say something about it.

Hello Friend,

I have not yet seen this movie. But I've not seen the kind of passion generated by a movie in a long time. A woman in Kansas even died while watching those last 20 minutes that were so powerful.

I count myself as a believer and would like to go see this movie....... if I ever get any spare time. Rolling Eyes

Hope you've been well BG. How are things going in your Sears "afterlife"?

I haven't seen this movie yet, but thought I'd bring up one interesting fact in the mean time. Almost all positive reviews/comments about "The Passion" have been made by people who have seen the movie, while the majority of negative feedback has been made by people who have not seen the movie.

i'm thinking about going to see the movie, just cuz i wanna see jesus get his ass nailed to a cross. jesus is bullshit. think about it: he's a carpenter who claims he was born to a virgin. first off, 9 out of 10 carpenters i know do some sort of drugs. second, 9 out of 10 "virgins" that i know, forget to count the time they got drunk and gave it up to some guy that said he was a lawyer, stock broker, etc.

third, i grew up in the USA. every drawing i've evern seen of Jesus has made him out to be a white male, with long dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes. Jesus is supposedly from Bethlehem, which is about 6 miles south of Jerusalem. Meaning that Jesus is arabic. How many arabic people have u seen that are white as all hell, have dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes??? that's right. none. christianity, catholicism, etc.......no more than believing the words of a cracked out hippey with nothing better to do.

think about it: you're a construction worker who doesn't feel like doing his job. you get high as hell one day and tell your boss that you are the son of an imaginary being who just happened to create the entire universe. bullshit. jesus is the biggest scam ever.

if u met somebody on the street right now, that said they were the son of god would you believe them or think they were crazy?? you'd think they were crazy. so why is it all differant 2000 years ago???

god is all powerfull, all knowing, but he needs ur money to stay alive.
