DONALD J. CARTY
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AMR Corporation and American Airlines, Inc. (air transportation) from 1998 until his retirement in 2003. Mr. Carty served as President of AMR Airline Group and American Airlines from 1995 until 1998. He is a director of Dell Computer Corporation. Director since 2001. Age 57. Donald Carty, the former American Airlines chief executive, would become chairman of, and an investor in, Hawaiian Airlines under a reorganization plan proposed by the carrier's parent company. Carty resigned from American in April 2003 after an uproar over his failure to tell workers about bonuses and bankruptcy-proof pensions granted to executives while the rank-and-file were being asked to accept huge pay cuts. Did he resign or did he retire

| HE RESIGNED!!!! His "failure" to disclose those "perks" to the unions, public, and stockholders cuased such an uproar, he was forced to resign. He asked that his employees take concessions to help the company while he and his cronies were just going to reap it in. I feel that if the higher ups are going to ask for concesions and what not from the employees, then they should do THE SAME THING. How fair is it that they make so much from their compensation plans that we're the one's that lose out. We have much more to lose than them. SO MUCH MORE!!!! They can give up their fair share of benefits as well to help the company, that is, if they care for it bad enough. | |

I said last year around this time that Donald Carty is not the type of individual Sears should have represented on the Board Of Directors. He was retained even after his self-centered actions that lead to his resignation at AA.
This is a new year. Nothing has changed. He is still on the BOD and I doubt he has personally changed. Therefore, I maintain he is still not what should represent Sears on its Board. Use your proxy and VOTE HIM OFF! "Footie" |

| Footie - this is exactly what we need here on these boards - voices that reinforce why we need to use our votes, make statements with those votes, remove dead weight, kick those people off that only ride the train and toot the whistle, but never stoke the coal - write in on the webcast why you want Carty removed - ask why is he on the compensation committee and on the audit committee - he is not qualified, honest enough, or trustworthy enough to even serve on the board much less sit on these committees - he was a scurrilous leader in his own company - he did not serve his company, his shareholders, nor his employees - he served himself - so far it looks as though he is serving himself at Sears also - don't think for a moment the pension cost cutting did not serve the board and execs a hefty reward - they have increased earnings per share only for their benefit - cut, cut, cut - Lacy is a plain and simple operator, a bean counter - he is not, nor is anyone else in the tower or on the board a MERCHANT - only ones that hear day in and day out that sales must increase are us - do you think Sears would allow a store manager 3 plus years to straighten out a failing store - they would have given him 6, maybe 9 months - but Lacy has had 3 years + - his team are poor excuses for top ranking salespersons/merchants - they can't even figure out what to buy that will sell - GET RID OF THEM ALL - demand that board members must seek reelection yearly by way of the shareholder meeting - demand they make public exactly what they gain - demand that we determine their pay - that it is not done on the sly behind velvet curtains that you can't find the middle split to open the stage - start demanding and start demanding loudly - LOUDLY | |

| SearsService - all my cheerleading, stumping, motivational speaking here or the other 2 boards mean absolutely squat if I can't get someone to share the floor with me - if any employee has contributions in the 401k, you have a voice - you are entitled to have a say - I cannot tell you how passionate I am about finding one other person to meet me at Hoffman - one person - just one - if 2 other people, or more, showed up at Hoffman, I would feel as though I hit the mother lode - for goodness sakes - please anyone - someone who lives in Chicago area - wait how about this - I live in Indianapolis - we will leave the day before - I travel I-65 - does anyone need a ride - I can pick you up - I can't pay for your accommodations, but I CAN PICK YOU UP - I don't mind going 30, 45, 60 minutes out of my way to get someone to stand up with me - someone to stand up with us - please - do you really want to see me beg - OKAY HERE IT IS - I AM BEGGING, PLEADING - I WILL EVEN GIVE YOU A LIFT IF YOU ARE SOME WHERE ALONG THE ROUTE I WILL TRAVEL - BUT SOMEONE PLEASE GO WITH ME | |
