How do I post a song I have on my computer to this site - it is a lighthearted oldie but goodie and it will provide a little comic relief in light of my heavy hearted shareholder attendance campaign - so - can anyone out here teach an old dog a new trick?

Come on you guys - I really would like to post a little parody about our relationship with Sears - I have few songs that will lighten up the mood - make you smile - give you a little chuckle - just the titles will cause you to snicker - so which one of you are going to give me a lesson in Posting Music 101 - it might turn that frown upside down

I'm not the techie here but near as I can tell is that you would need a *url* for your ditty.
You can create your own or search and find the ditty already on the net and link the url (some music sites provide short versions of the desired melody).
Post the words and let others do the search for you, why do it all yourslef eh?
That's my best shot.

MrsDD, we need to know what format your song is in first of all. If it's in a format other than mp3 on your computer, then we could probably find it somewhere else online and see about just linking. If it is an mp3 however, then you need to upload the track to a host server and then link it. The latter is definitely more problematic, as no one likes to "donate" their bandwidth these days (used to be loads of free web file storage sites).
Let me know what format the song is in and we'll take it from there. Even if it's an mp3, I might have a host for you. PM me the details if you want.
Regards
P.S. Siggy, what on earth is a ditty? Never heard that before, honest.
