Any other stores see big time ($2-6) drops in Mitt pay this last quarter? And that when we're running 15-20% increases the last few months. Paycheck sure doesn't show it. Living with no increases is one thing, but to regress to 10 years ago is something else.

Tell me one more time about that 3% anticipated yearly rise in income that the pension forcast sheets are making assumptions on.

Oh yeah, I forgot---do a good job of selling, especially in the higher line of goods, ---get rewarded with a pay cut because you are told you did too good a job. Then get told to just sell more to make up the difference, but add so many extra people on the floor so that you are lucky if you get to talk to 2-3 customers for the entire day. We spend more time talking to ourselves and our co-workers because there isn't anyone else to talk to.

Sorry, but had to vent.

Everyone who has seen a drop in their MITT this quarter should call thje Sears number in Hoffman and question it. 1-800-88SEARS. I have called almost every quarter for the last two or three years and almost everytime it was raised. One guy last quarter had his MITT refigured at $2.00 an hour higher. Don't accept the figure if it looks wrong, question it. You'll be glad you did.

I've noticed more and more that you must bring more and more problems to their attention.Wether this in attention to detail is becuase of overwork or financial motivation it is becoming more prevelant.Bring everything,EVERY LITTLE problem wether it be your pay check or job problems;bring everything to their attention, demand follow-up and see who is ACTUALLY on the ball.

Whoa! Mine is $15.80. Thanks D22man for the loss in self esteem. (Just kidding). In our rural store that is not bad. Cost of living is low and Sears is putting 3 kids through college so I'm doing O.K.

I called the 888#, it worked, you were right ----when they reconfigured the numbers, it went back up. I'll be calling every quarter from now on. AND I'll be keeping VERY detailed tracking of my numbers. $2 an hour is $2 an hour.

So far, 6 of my co-workers have called in and requested re-checks for the last 3 quarters. In each case, MITT $$$ were revised upwards ----From $1-almost $3. Mostly because of the last quarter errors. If you don't ask--you won't get. $3 times a 40 hour week make a $120 difference on a vacation pay week.

You're welcome, congratulations on getting back the money Sears tried to take from you. I hope you're experience will encourage others to call if they feel that there is a mistake in their MITT pay. The amount of money this saves Sears is staggering. If only half the comm. associates are shorted $1 an hour that could add up to over two million dollars in lost wages a year. It has happened so often you know that it is a conscious effort to rob from the poor and give to the rich.
