An interesting article................take a look of Moore's new movie........by a noted left leaning person
| Quote: |
To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental. To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery.

BG, that is quite a fisking by Hitch. Seems to me that he has been leaning more to the right lately...especially when it comes to the War on Terror. Mr. Moore is just an opportunist taking advantage of the feelings in the country to make some more big money.

Hitchens is rather a loose cannon at times....(I think it depends how much Johnny Walker he has had that day) He is a definate leftist, but has a clear vision on the war on terror.
