Anyone still come here? I check back once in a while, no one here in a while
Is it because we are all in the middle of working our butts off even while the powers that be insist on cutting hours until there is simply no one on the floor? It is the age old question, if we spend the payroll, will the sales come etc. I know many of us have been through this year after year. We lose good people because it is so (unfairly) overwhelming. Fortunately we are also able to get rid of the dead weight as well.
I wish our stock would go up and split already. I would like to retire rich in another ten years.
Is anyone wondering what direction Niblock will take us when tillman retires?
At least we finally have a good race car driver.
Take care all

I'm still here to, I don't post alot anymore but I keep up with whats going on. I think you have a point there merlin, maybe they think if they wear us out at work we want have time to visit the message boards. Yes the hour cutting is going on everywhere, at the peak of the season when we need good coverage we see customers walking out because theres no help. Isn't it strange how they always want the employees to take a chance on the company, but they want take a chance on coverage bringing in more sales? I learned very early in life that in order to make money you have to spend money, their not willing to do that, they want a sure thing on their bonus's. Yes we hire new people but other employees hours are cut so the payroll will stay the same, it makes them look good to say they're creating jobs, but they do nothing to help the economy if they don't also increase the payroll.

Hey gang,
I check in most every day, if nothing is new on the board I move on. Like all of you I am getting real tired of the piss poor excuses for hours being cut back. The region had a poor showing on the gallup last year because of low employee morale. So they must have told the D/M to get more people on board. Just so happens that it coincided with the gallup. Soon as everyone was through the gallup (literally taken to a phone and politely asked to call), hours and staff were cut dramatically, even though we continue to excede comp and budget. They really think we can't put the pieces together, it's no wonder our stock prices don't move. They think everyone is as stupid as the corporate numbnuts. These guys must not ever watch the movies, it is supposed to be "Build it and they will come", not," Get them here then maybe we'll build it". Oh well, Stupid is as stupid does. Maybe they do watch movies!
