10% on personal purchases, don't get caught using it to buy stuff for other people or for personal gain for a sideline business.

I can't buy from the store I'm working at for my sideline business?

technically you can't buy anything with your employee discount that isn't a personal purchase. this includes sideline business as previously noted, as favors for friends, and the biggest culprit of disciplinary action is buying items at a discount for rental property. that is the big one. b/c you are buying something that will aid you in profit. but anyways its 10% off stock merchandise and 10% above cost on special order sales.

Also do not let yourself be guided by all the negativity that you may be met with on this site. You can find a great store and make the dscision for yourself on what kind of company it is to work for. It is what you make of it.

(Thanks big_poppa for the info)

I have the interview tommorrow (4/twenty eight) and because of this site I will feel better prepped about how things work at Lowes.

Ya know, most workers would feel at home either at the factory or the farm. Sadly, neither is readily available to us anymore.

Me? I'd be happy hunting bear in the mountains and coming into town twice a year....fat chance of that, huh.

Can you please let me know details about your interview? What dept are you applying for? What state are you in? If you don't mind can you let me know what they offer in pay? I'd appreciate this. Thanks!
