Been trying since wednesday, seems like the gods are against us cab  How ya been BTW? I think it's knida weird how everybody is all quiet after the Fla Brew ha ha, aren't you?

| Good to hear from you LowesLady, doing fine, hope you are to. I don't know what happened to the other site, things were getting pretty hot & heavy over there between the employees and a (so he said) District Manager and all of a sudden it was gone, just like someone pulled the plug. I still read all the boards, I don't jump in as much as I use to, but I do from time to time. Your right it has been quite after Fla.,to quite, makes me think something is brewing, what do you think ? Take care, talk to you later. | |

| Well Cab, form my years of experience with Lowes, when its quite, it's not a good thing. But I keep on going, just like the energizer bunny. I still have it in me to say, I ain't no quitter, guess they will have to retire me to, that is the proper Lowes way right......lol | |

It kinda makes me fell like it's the clam before the storm, we know somethings coming down we just don't know when. They do think we're a bunch of energizer bunnies don't they ?  I've got to where I don't worry alot about them, I go in everyday and do my job and go home knowing I did the best I could, and go back and try again. They keep raising the bar, they seem to have forgotten that we're human and one human can only raise the bar so high, and then it takes two to raise it any higher. It's kinda like planting one apple tree and expecting that tree to produce the apples that ten trees would, the tree will finaly get rundown and quit producing at all. I feel thats whats happening to the Lowe's employees and retail employees in general.

Tried for the last 3 days and got nowhere. In the middle of inventory so don't have that much time to try.
Ah...inventory. Now I know why I enjoy hourly! I'm the only hourly on the 14 member team. God, don't you love it! 55-60 hrs. Don't care what they say, I'll follow my posted schedule, 6 to 5 for 6 days. Ah, maybe I can now afford that new airplane, LOL. |

| Glad to see others are starting to come here. Have not been able to get on the other site since last Wednesday. Guess it was the District Manager who did it. If he was a district manager, said he was in Florida but would not devulge any information. I know our district ops manager gets on because I saw it on his lap top. Seems kind of funny that we did not seem to have any higher ups than manager until Florida came around. Maybe they had a suggestion to go to the other site. Hopefully, the others will follow to here. I will try to be nicer cabinetman. We have had or differences in the past but today is a new day and we can only go forward. | |

I too have been unable to pull up the other website, could be that something they put on the website regarding Wal-Mart or one of the other big retailers was considered slanderous or something, it wasn't necessarily a Lowe's thing, was it? What did I miss, did someone who posted make a threat or something on the other board?
I'm glad to see a lot of the gang from the other site here... |

| Glad to see everybody here to! Have anybody had any changes since the Fla bit? All our SM said was the great incentives on the Bronze, Silver, and Gold customer service awards. Damn if only I thought there where a chance for any of that money and cars I will kiss a lil butt every now and then. I have to say, Lowes has step up to the plate on this one. Good to see you here classy. Yes I know we've had our differences and there may be more, but at least we do it in a civilized manner and don't yell at each other. I don't always agree with my best freinds, but in the end we're still freinds. We did have a good one going with that DM (so he said) on the other board before it went blank, a couple of years ago the same thing happened to the old retail-workers site, alot of things were coming out and all of a sudden it went down, never to come back. They haven't told us anything yet about the Fla. meeting, just the usual first of the year threats that if we don't make SOS and Installs we'll be gone ,as if threats really wants to make a person get out there and sale. 
I've always liked this site better but haven't been able to get very many to come over here, maybe they will now, it is alot easier site to get around in. |

| Unfortunatly I am stuck doing the pricing coordinators job until a new person transfers from another store. She is the cash office person and they don't want to let her go. I HATE BEING THE PRICING COORDINATOR. | |

Yep, that’s one job I wouldn’t want. You know it’s funny how sometimes a person in one job will look at another’s job and think how easy they have it or that the other job doesn’t look so hard, but if you had to that job for a day it might make you appreciate your own job a little more... ... or maybe not in some cases. |

I tryed to register on the other site, but it would not let me. It told me that my E-Mail address was already being used. How can that be when I have been using the same address for almost 7 years now. I even E-mailed myself to check it out and I got my own letter back in my mail box. so no one else is using it. I sent them a letter, but no response yet. Are they affilated with another site by chance?
