|
|
|
I'm working on a redesign and, before I commit to a layout, I'd like to make sure it's compatible with the majority resolution/window size.
For example; although the resolution on my primary monitor is 1600*1200, I often browse in an 800*600 window so I would select 800*600.
If your resolution or window size isn't an option in the poll, please post it below.
For the unitiated, you can check your screen resolution in Windows by right-clicking on an empty area of your desktop, select 'properties', then select the 'settings' tab. Your resolution should be displayed with a little adjustment slider near the bottom.
Thanks.

I'm at 1024x768 on a 19" monitor. Could bump it up a notch but the type gets a tad small for me then.

I do 16*12 on a 19" - screen real estate is incredibly valuable to me. So much so that I've been running dual monitors for a few months now. Triple monitors isn't out of the question now either as I purchased a 17" LCD last week: running @ 1024*1280 portrait orientation.
I'd really like to lose the 19" CRT altogether and replace it with two more 17" LCD's. I'm really impressed by the brightness and clarity of the LCD compared to my old CRT. The difference is quite phenomenal. Decent LCD's are so frikkin' expensive though. But then again, so are decent CRT's.
