Born Leslie Townes Hope in Eltham, England in 1903, actor Bob Hope performed well into his nineties. His career began in Vaudeville at age eighteen. He passed away today.

Now there was a class act!
I can't help but think of what a full life this man led. Vaudeville, Radio, Films, TV, he did them all and was a king in each.
But he will also be remembered for his generous heart and thoughtfulness of others with his dozens of trips to war torn areas of the world to boost the spirits of our fighting troops.
I can't think of a person who gave more to this country in so many different ways than Bob Hope. Gone but not forgotten. He was a GIANT!
