I posted a simple question, or so I thought. It has now become one of, who if any will answer the very same?

I want no argument, I want an honest cousinship of the total community, as to have voice. Is this not what a union is about?

So, if it is so perceived to be about us, then I ask? Why we have no say in the matter? Was it not by your course in that you asked us of such?

It is by most thoughts, but an idea to a better, is it not?

Mine, awaits thy answer,

Ratchet

Some clarification may be in order, tho I'm sure it has already been said. I can only speak for myself.

I am a retail worker. My only interest is to participate and do what I can to ensure workers have a voice. I have no magic beans to make anything happen but I try to do what I can.

This is one of the projects I believe will eventually help workers get informed enough to make the choices that will improve thier working lives now and ensure some kind of future for us.

I am expressly dissappointed each time I read that those doing something isn't enough. We are moderators. Working people helping working people.

Moderators have been assigned to ensure the community doesn't implode, so far so good. Growing the community is up to the inhabitants. What have you planted Rachethead?

I personally don't see that anything has changed since this question was clearly addressed in the very first post of this thread. IMHO

Siggy,
You and you alone have been the only one to give any answer to the question. For that I am appreciative, however some, or most of the "outher`s" do not see that a responce is worth their time, or thought.

I am only looking for a responce by the Board of Moderators and the rest of the community as to, if in fact this is a fair and just system, in that we now see displayed to us?

I for one , Believe that all should have a voice in their own government,by the issue of vote.

For it is only with such that all side`s may be heard.

There is no *board of moderators* ... let me repeat ... there is a group of working people from all over the continent BTW, helping other working people.

There are no magic beans ... !!!!!

As for the rest of the community ... that would be you too, what do you have to add?

ed=tookout*directors*putin*moderators* ... oops?

I must beg to differ with your take on that, as to a "board" of.

Board - An organized body of administrators or investigators: a board of trustees; a board of directors.

But at the very same time, I will agree their are "no Magic beans", but for the "giant" among us all. And that was a "Fairy-tale" none the less.

But the very "outhers" of so called power, have not at this time answered to the call have they?

It is very simple, what I ask, is it not?
I only ask for each to be considered for the very same as you would have yourself asked of.

It is to be a union, is it not?

A joining of differentness by the same to become the whole.

Disagree all you want. The old RW went down, people who participate on MFD wanted to help, the site was built to ensure posters who had gathered to discuss their workplace and how to make it better could continue to do that.

Huh?

My turn to disagree, this subject has been worn so thin I'm trying to figure out what it's about. Are requesting an opportunity to moderate. Moderate what? There seems to be no need. The posters here are courteous and are moderating themselves very well. Most of them anyway.

Yes it is simple.

It is to be a place where workers can exchange information to make their workplaces better, their future brighter. A place to have a little intelligent conversation with people they might otherwise never meet if it weren't for the internet. A place to connect with like minded. A place to meet with those of opposing opinions. A place where workers can help workers.

Wish I had said that.

So we agree, do we not?

And as to the rest, they have not been heard from have they?

But the "simple" question does remain, "Is it a right of free speech or but an arbitrary one?

Let`s hear from the "union" of such,

If that not be case, forgive me if I spoke to soon,

Might I ask , for where my post`s went? ( seeing as there were over seven , that were unanswered.)

It is one thing to be "patience" and an intirely different matter to manipulate one`s "one`s" thoughts for one`s gain, is it not?

However I`ve never been one to ask a question, now would I?

To repeat myself:

This community hasn't had enough time to develop.

Admittedly, being an optimist, I anticipated faster growth, hence the "at least a few weeks" statement, but, as growth has been slow, a mod vote now would result in nothing more than a popularity contest.

Further to the above, I will not hand out administrative privileges to individuals who have not demonstrated a sincere interest in the future viability of the community by means of quality contributions to the community.

What would you like me to clarify Ratch'?
