i was out 2 separate times unexpectedly. the first time i called infoserve (fds - benes) and i DID get sickpay. i am a former may associate. don't think macy*s people get that. tho it IS only 2/3 of your pay for that day, and i believe it still counts as a "call-in"...meaning it counts against you for call outs. the second time i used one of my 7 personal days. i got full pay and it doesn't count against you as a "call out" for attendance.
i was in the larger Nicer macy*s last week and i did see "Impulse". i was like, what the heck is that? looked funky, like juniors, sort of but high end. that store has many "boutique" sections...designers...and all of those associates are 'specialists'...they do get a higher wage.
