Hello? I am very upset with the way Lowe's is going. I first got hired on about 5 years ago, and it was a blast. We worked as a team. When things needed done, we helped each other out. When our SM got promoted to DM about several years ago, things started to go downhill from there.

As of lately, we can't get product in on a timely manner. If we 5.3 or 3.4, it can take upto several weeks to recieve the product. There have been times that we got product(s), such as on 04/02, but yet we can't locate it within the store. I have been told by ZMs that sometimes it doesn't get loading from DC until another day or two. When doing IRPs, I have to write this off and hopefully one day to recieve it. I think its funny that ZMs blame me for this problem.

Another probelm is that starting this week, we will work until 11:30 M-S night. We close at 10PM on these days. Management thinks its the best thing for customers. They believe that by staying until 11:30pm that we will have a great zone recovery, and customers would rather shop with us if we had perfect aisles. This is causing some major issues right now with several employees that have worked with Lowe's for a long time. We are currently seeking new avenues of employment.

Love to hear from others out there....

So who is there in those perfectly zoned aisles to help the customers during the day? It's frustrating when the hours change. My store used to have closers stay until 11:45 every night except Sunday. Sundays the closers got to leave at 10:00. We were open M-S 6a-10pm and 7-8 on Sundays. Then the customers complain that they can't find someone in the store to help them.

We're a home improvement warehouse. Most customers require some type of assistance for their project. If we aren't there to include those add-on sales how can we increase the humber of hours ?
