I can't speak for DQ of course Mags, but I'm betting you that no matter what happens as these stories come out... no matter how many situations turn out to be exactly what this one is evolving toward... you will NEVER get the core group to admit that any lies were told or even that any mistakes were made.

The gene that controls the ability to be able to admit to a lie, or even that they might have fallen for someone else's lies, appears to to be missing from their genetic makeup.
