I just found out they closed the Orlando Dixie Stampede! I can't believe they would have closed it, the one here is fantastic!!!!!! Expensive, but well worth it at least once!

Well thats absurd! They had to be making money!!! A $8.00 meal and they charge $45 for admission?? The production couldn't possibly cost them $37 a person to put on. Not to mention here they ask for tips for the servers. I really hate that it closed!

You must remember though that there are quite a few dinner theater shows in Orlando. Lots of competition. I am disapointed though, I really wanted to see the show sometime.

LadyinFL and friendofmacy, don't come to California for teaching! Governor Ahhh-nold screwed up the teaching budget even more than it alread was and they are going to be several school closures in several districts. Inner city and urbanized districts are suffering and fellow teachers, including myself, have decided to move on to greener pastures! I don't know if mandatory requirements differ from state to state but it always seems that California makes you jump through the proverbial hoops just to receive and keep your credential. I finally got fed up and turned back on it! I do miss it though! Working with students but I would not go back until education system can get better organized! Doh! Rolling Eyes

And, be thinking of me on Wednesday. I have an interview with someone in our state government about a job. They contacted me about seeing them. Maybe someone was a customer of mine that I impressed.

Yes South, Good Luck!

EX - It's not just Sunny Cali, its all over. NCLB screwed all the teachers, like I said, what about NTLB. (No Teacher Left Behind), all states are like that. For instance Tennessee! It's so expensive and difficult to get through some of the garbage that they make us suffer thru. I am glad I moved to Georgia. It's a much better system.
