It's going good, but I am exhausted! I am planning to go to bed tonight as early as I can. I have tests to give tomorrow. I am trying to establish reading levels on my students and it has been a night mare thus far. I also have a math test to give tomorrow. I hope the monsters paid attention.

I am testing individually every student to determine their reading level and then I am giving a math test tomorrow on Chapter 1 - counting.
It's not so bad really.

You would be shocked if you heard my daughter read. She reads like a 5th grader, and she's in 1st grade.
I just had to brag!

I am sick of doing the tests. I don't have to do them but I am doing them so I can start planning reading classes, it has really surprised me.

My first day of school is Monday...... wish me luck

You've got a point...they do start school way too early. Well, I hope you enjoy teaching. Be sure to let us know how it's going.

She is only starting a week later then we did! Florida isn't that much further ahead of us!
I went to Kohl's today and bought the neatest Zebra Print Sheets for my bedroom. It almost hurts to look at them, but they are so neat! Lol, well better run now, time for bed.

It might even be a little later.... Tropical Storm Fay is threatening to push back the start day for school. It's track is currently headed right for us. I live in central FL and the spaghetti models are lining right up for my area.... so my summer might end thursday instead of Monday.

We need the rain here. Our grass is extra crunchy! Fay is destined straight for Atlanta right now, maybe its on its way.
