Alot of hours have been cut from the payroll of my store this week, how about yours? We were told this came down from G.O., we were also told that the speacialist would have to start working longer hours to cover. Have any of you out there been told this? It doesn't seem to matter if you're making budget or not because we are (or we were, it'll be tough to keep it going without coverage) so here we go, save a dollar in payroll, lose a hundred dollars in sales. Like I've said before, they're going to make the numbers even if it means running it with only salaried people. The big companies complain about the slow economy when they're causing it themselves, a national news story just today talked about the big companies by not hiring & cutting hours was hurting the economy, if you can't get enough hours to make money you can't go out and spend it.
