Don't get me started. We have work leads in my department, and they have recently given them red badges to make them look important. I still treat them the same way as any other person. The last time I checked, they are still associates. They still pay union dues, and they need to do a checkup on their egos. In my case, the other sad thing is that I still happen to know more than them, and some of the managers as to what needs to be done.

Yes, you must use your card to get a discount.
It seems to me, that if you can't get the UYC discount, and we only get 20% now, instead of the 25% that we used to get, we would get better deals by not working at Macy's. It's pretty bad when the customers save more than the employees. Can someone remind me why we are working at Macy's?

Yes, I can remind you. Because.................................
You Count
Team Wins
Integrity Always
And can someone please remind me of the others because I have forgotten!!!!!

you forgot the most important one: RESULTS MATTER

I think Macy's needs a campaign to do something for their employees!

That would be unlikely, because You Never Count at Macy's--correction, Federated using the Macy's name. Had it been the real RH Macy's (pre-Federated,) certain stores would probably still have the full sized cafeteria with real, hot food. The medical department would have still been around. Above all, we would have had managers who are actually professional and would not be condescending toward their workers.
Would that be managers who actually follow the dress code and dress professionally?

With this, I am not being bitter. May God bless and deal with the ones who treated me harshly. In the five years I have been at Macy's, I have been lied to. I have been manipulated. I have received a bad attitude just for me asking them for something. I have been discriminated against. I have been yelled at. I have been belittled. I have been treated like crap. I have been overworked, and unrecognized. I have been made fun of due to the fact that I stutter. The last particular one could easily bring a manager into being fired. When it comes to managers, I do not have a high view of them.

One blessing is that Macy's isn't hooked up with "Jerry's Kids", like some grocery and drug stores. I think we should petition Terry to do something for Jerry. Can't you feel the love?

oh, jeez, don't give em any ideas, south !!
