One time while walking through Castner Knott my brother and I started ripping the price tags off of everything we walked past. I thought my mum was going to kill us. We were expected to behave like little gentlemen while we were out in public.
Some parents just... Well as they put in Gone With The Wind
"Quite Frankly my Deer, I just don't give a damn" attitude.
It unnerves me to no end to be in a store and there be a screaming baby. My brother and I were both escorted out of the store and spanked. No exceptions. Course i am the one that my daddy had to take out of Kmart. The entire way out of the store I scream "I didn't mean to piss you off daddy"!
I know my children will behave. It is uncalled for when parents just don't care. |
FOM, I can't believe that you did that! I get so mad when kids rip the tags off of the clothes.
I hate to hear a crying baby. I don't know why people keep shopping when their baby is crying. When mine started crying, I headed straight for home! Today a lady started breastfeeding right at the register! Yikes. I am a firm supporter of breastfeeding, but be at least a LITTLE descreet.
That's funny what you said to your dad. I would have died laughing if I heard a kid say that. I bet your dad was furious.
If you want some behaving kids, you'd better hurry up and find that nanny, or doctor, or cell phone leaner...

I was 7! What do you expect? Besides Castner Knott always hired EVIL old women.
You know my daddy still hasn't forgiven me for that. I mean it was last week! Hehehe.... My brother hadn't been born yet so I had to be 3 or 4 when it happened.
My uncle took his kids to Kmart and my cousin wanted a big red truck - except he could pronounce the "tr" sound. It came out as an F..
As a result he scream all the way through the store (Toys are in the back, remember) that he wanted a "A Big Red F...." Fill in the blanks! I can't bring myself to actually say it.

Well Herald Square won't. We'll merely wait until fourth quarter to open the toy shop across from Santaland. Nothing is worth buying over there anyway, until after CHRISTmas, and the stuff is 75% off.
