HELL NO I can't help I'm a commissioned sales person and having to put up and take down the signs for you is enough.....ain't printing them too!

I don't know your team very well but maybe they don't have enough people. I'm on the signing team and we don't have enough people that our pcn don't get done like they should. It's part hours (you aren't going to find people to work 3-10 hours a week.), part can't find people to work the crazy hours, and another part is all the crap they want you to do.
I understand that you don't want to do things because u r on commission and even u aren't in my store I thank you for helping team out by taking and putting up signs. I wish we could get our people to do that then it would help us get things done.

How does 'penny merchandise' from the other thread affect this scenario???
If it has been discounted down, and they bring it to a cashier (understandably, it is not supposed to still be on the rack or shelf...), isn't Sears OBLIGATED to match the tag price? Aren't we (Sears and/or the associate) opening up a can of worms by telling the customer it is an error, and THIS is the price I can give it to you for?

You would be in most counties here in California... it's usually up to a county department, in our case, Weights and Measures, to do the actual inspections or investigations here.
It does NOT matter what the circumstances are... to indicate one price by WHATEVER means and then try to charge a higher price would be illegal as hell here. Maybe Eddie needs to turn loose of enough money to hire someone to keep the stuff straight and put it back in the correct stack when it gets moved or something that would affect his bottom line.
But in any event, it's going to be the company's responsibility when anyone files a complaint or they get caught with mismarked merchandise in this county just like it apparently was at those KMarts in the articles.
