it all depends on why you left.
did you give two weeks??
when you leave the company and terminated, a reason must be given. there are corresponding term codes. there are a set of term codes that can make a person not rehirable.
some need hr approval!

The main question is, why would you want to come back once you broke free?

"Desperation"?? WTH ....
ANYWAYSSSS....
I knew you all would assume that I worked for Macy's.... I never worked for that place and never will after all the horror stories I hear about that place. I'm happy @ H&M thank you very much(ok maybe not but they pay enough for me to buy my college books lol). But anyway, I was asking because a guy friend of mine got terminated for "theft of company time"(I lol every time he says this), something to do with coming in and leaving all the time while on company time so they let his butt gooo... LMAO!! But who can blame him, i've been to that place a few times while he was working and witnessed 1st hand the crappy mistreating of employees there. Who wouldn't want to leave? He says if all else fails(finding another crappy retail job to hold off till he graduates) he's thinking about re-applying there and was wondering if they would rehire someone they fired.... I tell him to just focus on finishing school and when he gets that degree and gets that $$$$$$$ job he can go back and tell 'em to shove it... but that's just my opinion LOL.

@ LadyinFL... I hope they can talk some sense into my friend... I don't know why he would want to subject himself to that type of torture again..

That having been said, I have seen people hired back that I couldn't believe got re-hired. We have a girl that has been back 4 times. Every time I see her, I'm thinking WHY?????

Desperation. I helped a friend out to get hired at my present company but because of the slowness of ALL retail stores, she wasn't really making any money. She eventually went back to Macy's. Hopefully they gave her a decent wage that she could survive on when she came back.

She could make more at macy's than at your company????
One thing I WILL say about Macy's is that if you are in a benefitted slot, then you are guaranteed your hours. Although, I think this might only apply to associates grandfathered from Mayco. Anyway, it's nice to know that you can count on those hours, and they can't be taken away.

Yeah but it sucks anyone else not grandfathered in. If I was still there I would still be making minimum wage while some newbie gets paid $2.00 more than me!

Let's add that on to the spiel for opening accounts. Save an additional 15% when you open up a Macy's card and watch as lowly Macy's employees lose their sanity, time, and well being at having to stress about opening credits!

And while you are at it. Could you pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease enroll in Thanks for Sharing (otherwise known as Thanks for Nothing) cause they are driving us nuts about that too! See back in the day, they used to only drive us nuts about our sales, but now they don't care about giving the customer good service! It's just credit and these stupid programs! So pleeeeeeeeeeeeease won't you help me regain my sanity!
