I'm sure everyone has a product or two they hate. I thought it might be interesting to see what products they are. Right now, my most hated products are Owens Corning insulation, ceiling tiles and patio doors.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the insulation. Seems like when I arrive there is always a couple of bags exploded. I'm not sure if its from customer returns, the stocking crew using the utility knives when opening the wrapped pallets or if the product just wants to explode on its own. All I know is the stuff makes me itch and its a total hassle trying to shrink wrap it back up. Even after shrink wrapping it back up, it still looks like a total mess. I even tried to call 1-800-get-pink to see if they had any advice but gave up after being on hold for an hour. I heard thats common. So much for WOW customer service from anyone else besides Lowes.

Ceiling tiles....ugh! DO NOT OPEN BOXES and SOLD AS COMPLETE BOXES ONLY and whats the first thing everyone does...YUP....they open the boxes and try to buy just one. Of course they destroy half the product and then it ends up back on the shelf looking like a complete mess. I'm not sure what the answer is with this product. If you wrap it back up and discount, it just creates more people opening the product. Had one guy open a box and ask if he could buy just one. They said NO and then the guy asked for a box discount because it was open. What a jerk!

Top/Down stocking patio and heavy doors for obvious reasons. Kills me that Lowes is sooooo safety conscience yet thinks its reasonable to walk up and down huge ladders with very heavy doors. In my opinion, it has to be one of the most dangerous task in the store. Oh thats right, the millwork team leader task sheet states they should be able to handle 200lbs with ease.....hahahaha

The worst product sold has to be the water heaters. Ive never seen so many returned (including 2 from me). Others tend to be ceiling tiles. They either open the box and try to buy one (which is amusing when you tell them it is the same price for one as it is for the box) or they buy the box and use the one they need and return the box. In my area, the russians were good for doing that and also returning wire.

Everything we sell in flooring. I swear that Dept. looks like a crime scene everyday. People open boxes even though we have a display AND sample. They still gotta take the product out of the boxes. Tiles all over the floor and all over the place on the shelves, area rugs just left on the floor because customers take them down to walk on them and they just leave them there. I wish I had an electric fence for the product so every time the customer did something stupid they'd get zapped.

I HATED that Halloween decoration of a skeleton playing the organ. I got so sick of listening to that obnoxious music from customer service. By day 3, I was so ready to climb a ladder and stab it repeatedly then throw the recording to the ground and laugh as it shattered into thousands of pieces. I'm so glad they took that stupid thing down.

Hmmm, OSB! That shit acts like a deck of cards when trying to take it off the back of the truck. Even full bunks that are factory banded will break the bands on our bumpy, rutted boondock roads.

Blown insulation. I will always have a torn bag on the truck. Guess what happens? The truck becomes the insulation blower and it looks like a Category 5 snow storm behind me. Doh!

Sheetrock. I never look at the other side of sheetrock. Until I get it to the customers house. Oh shit, look at all those scrapes and nicks in the rock because of mis-handling.

You can't hate Mums..why you probably have 10,000 of the lovely things, just like I do!
Now Pansies...you can keep them, as well as the decorative cabbages. I'm going to start bringing salad dressing into work...buy one, eat one free!

Well, the rosemary cones smell good to start with...if they would only look at the sales from the previous year, and cut the orders to a 1/3..then it wouldn't be so bad. At least you don't have to try to water tabletop trees when they have an inch of ice in the bowls...lol

Hillman because people will take out that one little screw that they need and leave the bag on the shelf. Come on customers you're screwing up someone else's project by shorting them.

Returned used appliances. The worst are the fridges and freezers that had food rot in them before the service call. The customer should have been forced to clean that out but alas they aren't.

Grout. bags and bags of grout that get that one tiny little hole in them leaving the aisle a complete mess.

I used to hate when we had the bigger bins of loose hillman, and someone new would put it away...you'd find them packed full, in all the wrong bins...or the customers would just throw stuff in whatever bin was closest. uggh
