To whom it concerns,
I was a guest of Beth Davis for a company dinner that took place at The Boundary off 21ST Ave. Present at the dinner was the two host of Southern Company, Daniel Stone and his wife , and Jason Cherry and his guest along with Beth Davis and myself Kenny Watson. During dinner and perhaps a couple of drinks more than someone should have during a business dinner Beth was asked by Mr. Stone, “Where was Justin”, Beth’s son for the evening. Beth responded by saying, another co- workers daughter was watching him that evening and Justin thought she was cute. This is where the conversation became inappropriate by Jason Cherry. Mr. Cherry stated that Justin was probably in the bathroom with lotion and masturbating while thinking about the baby sitter. Miss Davis stated ‘That's my son’ and changed the subject that evening by not embarrassing Dollar General Corp. anymore than already occurred. Since Mr. Stone and Mr. Cherry were Miss Davis's bosses she went too Geoff Wigner to report what happened, he said he would speak to Mr. Cherry about the matter, shortly after that M r. Cherry made comments to Miss Davis about being no fun and a bad girl. During the next year and half Miss Davis was no longer invited out and was refused opportunity to attend conference that she, and vendors I met felt were necessary for continued growth within her field. She was always told it was not necessary for her to attend, but on more than one occasion when Miss Davis changed jobs her predecessor within weeks and another months aloud to attend these same conferences and the next. It looked both professionally and personally like Miss Davis was black balled after she informed her Department Boss of the inappropriate behavior that occurred not only in from of her boss Daniel Stone but also a corporate vendor. Hard to believe a post such as this, with specific names and one person's allegations, would be allowed to remain on here for a full month.
Doubly hard to believe is that no one on here has even responded to this post in a month. Footsoldier |
