Lowes has one and one that says you cant be friends outside of work. Both class A's and fired!
thats just messed up, 11hrs a day spent at the place and you cant go grab a bite or beer with co-workers when you leave. You can and it slides, but if there ever was a ? about you as an employee, they can then class A you for that and fire you.
Just like the chinese OT, I swear its all been fiqured out by physcologist on how to break you know enough to stick it out. ot me though, I am already planning a jump ship

That would depend if your in the management "click"...Lol...
The only time a problem arises is when your dating a direct supervisor or management... Then you have conflict of interest... Other then that you can date whom you would like... Theres no law against it... Allthough I'm aware of a situation where there were two employees dating and it was frowned upon... So be careful... If your not in the management "click"... They will look for alternate excuses to be rid of you...

I work at lowes, and i can tell you right now that the is b,s.. the reason i said that is this.. i have "Managers, DM's, HRM's. and just normal employee's going out to eat and grabbing a beer or two while at lunch and out side of the work place.. i am also friends with a few of my co-workers and sometimes we go out to eat even for lunch.. so beleave it or not if that was true there would be ALOT of turn over at blowes.. lol plus im not planing to jump ship i plan on blowing them out of the water before i leave their sorry asses.. ^_^

As far as dating goes oh PLEASE! half of the ones at my store would flart with the ops races.. But yes there is a question about dating other ppl in both lowes and HD how ever i do not bother with it.. If they hit on me i just tell them to go back to work and if they continued which some of them have i just get pissed with them and tell them to goto heck in a nice way.. then i report it to management... Im far from being a suck up god knows i hate lowes and all the lazy ppl in it.. Thats why im glad that home depot is coming to Florence SC and to give lowes a attitude adjustment although im not even sure if that will help them any..

It's okay to grab a beer now and then...but managers can't date associates. Think about it. It's common sense. You will jeopardize your relationship with that person, and with other people in the environment as well.

My store is a "lite" store. WE have about 100 employees. My (ex) manager and 2 ASM's were all screwing our expiditer at the same time. Can't really follow the policy there!

I used to just have sex with a girl in my department for like almost a year. Never dated though, but gettin some out back behind the garden fence where the mulch pallets were was fun times.
