Why is it that WalMart the largest retailer, doesn't have a forum?

No kidding, Nofs. I wouldn't work there if it was the last place on this planet.

A friend of mine in Missouri is a night Customer Service Manager at WM. At least that's what they call her. She works 10 pm to 8:30 Am and stocks shelves, covers registers does displays... sounds familiar, eh?

Anyway, she just started her 11th year with WM and her raise in January will bring her to $9.80 an hour. Ten years of butt busting work, never a cross word with anyone and she still hasn't got to ten bucks an hour yet.

It ain't just sears.

I worked at a fast food place back when I was in high school. Went back there about 6 months ago to have a bite and ran into an ex coworker that still works there (20+ years there). She was only making $7.20 an hour. Sad. I was making $4 an hour when I was there. Neutral

You just described (to a tee) a couple of people I know who work for Sears.

(Sorry, didn't mean to continue the drift.)

I just find it sad, Kanaka. I've been with Sears 12 years and doubled my salary in that time. I started out what she's making now. One can't live on that kind of money. Confused

Hardly. As stated above; we had one, no one used it.

According to a UFCW filing at the OLRB, wal-mart's been using articles from another site I administer to discourage unionization.
