Well ChicagoRay,
If have read any of the post and threads here, you could get a pretty good gauge of what to expect. Everyone here has had varied experiences. Some good, some bad. For some Lowe's is or has been a great employer for them. It 's by no means the Corporation it was, say 5-10 years age. Hell even a year ago. Not knowing your area, delivery drivers in general make more money else where. At least the areas I've lived. Is there a HD near by? Check them out and you can get an idea of what Lowe's may offer. Keep in mind, at some point at Lowe's you will be doing more than Delivering Appliances.
It can always pay the bills until something else comes along. Just don't get injured while you are there. Good luck what ever your decision. Hope this helps.

thanks Nightman ,for the info ,I think I am looking for a career change and may use this as a entry point into management ... they are offeringonly $14.00 per hour which is low in my book ..benfits dont look to bad...but hope it leads to better prospects and training and your right you read all kind of experiences on these boards. so you take them with a grain os salt ....& a shot of tequila.
Ps. do the drivers install appliances?? do they get additional compensation fo that??
