I have been interviwed twice now (same day) for a cashier position seasonal. And I have not asked how much the position pays and thought someone may have some ranges. Im in Texas.
Also, I was reading on this forum that some people were stating to ask for more than their first offering. I asked for $10/hour on my job application, am I going to get this much or more? Just wondering if someone could give me a ballpark of the pay for a cashier or customer service person.
Also, is it easy to move from the cashier position to something on the floor? Thanks.

Very easy to get to the floor. Keep your nose clean and your chin up and it will happen in no time at all

Thanks for the replies. I actually got hired as a CSA instead of the cashier position. The starting wage was a little higher for the CSA versus the cashier. All is well.
