Slek - is there anyway that we can get to a previous page that is easier to manuver than what is currently available?

Probably, but you'll need to explain the issue a little bit better. I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

In the Sears Forum - it registers 80 pages - it lists the 1, 2, 3 . . . 78, 79, 80 - to get to page 23 you have to click on 3 and each page after that to get to page 23 - is there a feature that will allow you to type any random page # and it will go to that page?

No, unfortunately. I could probably hack it to display all of the page numbers though. Would that suffice?

well Slek - that isn't necessary - it would probably make the page look tacky - that's alot of page #s - maybe something will fall in our laps when new updates for the software are available - thanks for considering it though

I'll have a look at it anyways. Perhaps I can just have it display a wider range.

Slek.. I can say that I have gone though numerous hrs. of exactly what Mrs. DD is saying.. Sometimes Mrs. DD If I know the poster I just have to go through their membership name to find what I want. Sometimes that's easier.

I'm convinced that it's pretty useless as is. I'll see what I can do with it this week.

Slek - have you had any luck regarding the ability to access pages at random? - don't mean to be a pest

I'm afraid I haven't had the time. I'm knee deep in another site ATM and the deadline is approaching fast. Hopefully I'll have time to address this before the end of the month.

You can pester me all you want. I don't mind. It's often necessary. Shocked

I know you're knee deep slek - but perhaps a more categorized sears forum might be fitting and take the pressure off the endless pages. They are a chatty group, with lots to talk about. Just a thought.

Whoa there Siggy - please don't categorize - please don't do that - picking random pages allows some of us to narrow down a timeline when that is all we have to reference - when keywords, authors, or forums don't produce in search, time is the last resource - please don't categorize Razz Wink Confused Shocked Naughty! I don't think you have to sweat it but - I don't get it. Wouldn't it be simpler to find what topics or comments if the threads were more subjective?

It was only a suggestion, ultimately whatever changes that are made (or not made), the choices belong to the people who live here.

BTW, men take the scenic route too - they just didn't plan on it. Rock on!

Hello slek - just peeking in to see how it's going - not trying to ruffle any feathers or rile anyone up - but MEET installed a drop down menu for forums with large quantity of pages - it works very well - is that something you might consider - remember, I'm just asking Very Happy

It's going slowly. Smile "Drop Down menu" provided a nice hint though. I was able to google a hack in seconds.
