I recently had a 2nd interview with the OPS Manager at Lowes for a CSA position in ISLG. What is the sales environment like, and what could I expect for pay. I am just waiting on the drug test to get back till I get offered the position.

Lowe's is a little different than most other retail stores because of the nature of what we sell. What I mean is a larger portion of customers need help in Lowe's than in Wal Mart. Winter is pretty slow and in summer it can be hard to accomplish tasks because customers are constantly stopping you to ask for help. Not that that is a bad thing, after all, if not for the customers we wouldn't have jobs. You will be downstocking product to fill empty holes in the retail space, resetting shelves when seasonal changes are made in product, and a whole host of other tasks. CSAs are entry level positions and the pay reflects that. You'll get more than minimum, but you won't get skilled labor pay either.
