I see peoples titles labeled as CSA I, CSA II, etc. Does the numbers mean anything? :?

I just got back from day one of my orientation. I was surprised how many "Head Cashiers" were hired. Many of them were part-timers to boot. I dont get it, maybe its a Lowes thing or something. Seemed almost everybody had an important or atleast an important sounding title.
