I was thinking about switching my username and I could use some suggestions.

So far we have come up with:

Mr. Superior

Trolli

J.C. (Johnnie Cochran)

Sparky

The Big C

Funky Chicken

Sexual Chocolate

Flex

Shift

Sub

Swap

Trade

Undecided

Cdre Obvious

Frylock

Votes so far:

Switch: 1

keep it as modelemployee: 2

nobody cares: 1

Mike Meyers: 1

Twang: 1

You could 'switch" your user name to *Switch*. Not only does it fit well, but it would give you leverage in the future.

That's a good idea. I just don't know if I could bring myself to be called the name of a song by will smith.

Definitely worth considering. I am putting that one up on the board and giving it one vote.

Forget the future leverage argument, it would be a one time thing. What about Flex, Shift, Sub, Swap, Trade, Undecided...?

In that case I'll throw that one up there as an option and give it a vote as well.

I'll put those up there as well but I'm going to have to make you pick a favorite.

Also, how does "Cdre Obvious" grab you?

I thought so too. Great choice Magnolia. If it gets two more votes I'll change it to that.

it does fit in well here rather well ... sort of 'disgruntled' and unhappy all at once

i chose "Major Appliance" as a bit of a play on words - i saw there was a "Captain Kenmore" and worked off that

although "General Painintheass" might be the popular choice if the monikers were applied by others///

How about Mike Myers?

After reading a review of his latest film, The Love Guru, I was struck by a few observations by the reviewer:

Quote:
The word “unfunny” surely applies to Mr. Myers’s obnoxious attempts to find mirth in physical and cultural differences but does not quite capture the strenuous unpleasantness of his performance.

and

Quote:
Instead Mr. Myers floats through “The Love Guru” with the serene confidence that everything he does will have us rolling in the aisles. He follows nearly every joke with his trademark facial tic, baring his teeth, pushing his head forward and widening his eyes, as if to grant uncertain viewers permission to giggle. Sometimes he does this to indicate the character’s attempt at levity — Guru Pitka making a joke at someone else’s expense rather than Mr. Myers making a joke at Guru Pitka’s — but the distinction hardly matters. The delusional narcissism of the Guru, who dreams of a spot on “Oprah,” is of a piece with Mr. Myers’s own.

Aaaand in conclusion:

Quote:
The rule seems to be that no one may upstage him and all must adore him.

Gosh, why does that remind me of someone?

Mike Meyers has been added to the board and given one vote. Frylock has been posted as an option. In order to give it one vote I'd have to take away the one you gave for Mike Meyers.

I am not entirely sure what that is supposed to mean but I do appreciate your enthusiasm. You have also given me a new idea for a name.

I am putting "twang" up on the board. I don't know what it is, but I seem to have it and audiosup's wife seems to want it.
