Store manager who opened our store demoted to Sales Manager and moved to another store. We have had bad inventories and I guess that was the primary reason. Helluva nice guy though.

Man, I hate it when that happens. Managers that are nice and a pleasure to work for never seem to last. Then you have the total jerks who everyone hates, avoid like the plague and make everyone misrable and they get promoted. I wonder why that is?

I had a store manager who was fired. Many in the store felt a loyalty to him not to Lowe's. I didn't really have those type of feelings for him. He was a RICHARD to me. My heart doesn't bleed that he lost his job. He harrassed several people in our store and the policies finally caught up with him. So when you have a manager telling you that it's HIS store and he'll do what he wants...just watch. He or she may have an eye opening experience which reminds them that they too work for Lowe's not just themselves.
