i did not, but i also received my final paycheck this friday.
i got a phonecall from a former coworker, asking me if i knew an attorney who would take a case for employees rights.
his as well as many other's base rates (nobody in my old store had seen a raise...ever) had dropped from $7 to $6 per hour without any notice. human resources refused to comment.
if any of you know anything about this, PM me, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

go to your states labor board. in CA they are required to inform you of any pay rate change prior to it happening.

Do you mean base pay or benefit rate and which dept. does your former co-worker work in? I thought your benefit rate was basically something for commissioned associates in which equal to what they'd make if they were hourly and is used for vacation and sick pay. That fluctuates all the time. Your base pay should never go down unless you're in management or something and step down to a lower position but otherwise your hourly rate should never change.
