The defamation lawsuit filed by ex-credit executive Kevin Keleghan will proceed "pared" down a bit.Can still sue him for statements that included things like "lost confidence" in him,"became a barrier" and "wasn't forth coming".In today Chicago Sun Times;"Defamation Suit Vs Sears CEO Goes Ahead"-July 9,2003 by Sandra Guy. http://suntimes.com/output/business/cst-fin-sears09.html .Even if he doesn't win it shows a total lack of communication or ignorance here.I also think some STUFF will come out in court.

They will settle out of court to protect the King you can bet on that my thought in the whole matter is for a Financial advisor himself why are we paying him if he could not figure out the bean counting scam. He probably taught him all he knew. But the S---- always rolls down hill

I think you're right lowmorale. I doubt that Lacy wants to air dirty laundry in public.

In most lawsuits against big companies they are settled out of court as soon as possible. And when executives leave they're given a severance partly so they'll go quietly. The CEO here decided to with hold Keleghan's severence which ticked him off along with the comments to the press.I think both are responsible in some way & are calling each other's bluff so far.The scary part is that both seem to be "delegators" which means the details of the routine accounting are still done by someone else who might be doing the samething.
