The economy sucks. But should these times be allowed as an excuse for YOUR weakness? This guy threatens physical violence and wants a pity party or mercy.
I mean we're not talking a teenager from the hood here. I think all those who love to talk about how crime increases during tough economy are just waiting for their true self to come out.
I bet alot of the crime being committed is being done by some who either "dabbled" in crime or lesser crimes in their past or simply never got caught as a PT CRIMINAL.
I'm wondering if these 2 had a mild conscience as professional bank robbers and just decided to cry ' it's the economy ' while at work for leiniency if caught.

A lot of us have come upon hard times in our lives without having to resort to crime. Crooks is crooks. But then so are politicians and corporate execs. And they all make the same damned excuses and whiny little pleas when they get caught.
Bernie Madoff is probably the first white collar crook in history ever to receive a sentence that was even remotely proportional to the crime(s) he committed. I only hope that what happened to him indicates a trend.
Speaking of which... did his jailhouse travel agent ever get him into one of the country clubs where he could be part of the gen pop with people of his own "social standing"?

Bernie Madoff is an excellent example . He had being ponzy scheming for what about 20 years ? Hmmm 20 years ago - the late 80s : junk bonds and savings & loan scandals.
And robbing people for a penthouse and not food-Bernie please
The ends justify the means that's all it is .
