All the Speacialist in my store were told yesterday that we have to come in Sunday and work four hours before the store opens, to clean the store up. When the store is open they expect everyone to work as a team, but after hours they don't want any extra payroll, so the salaried people turn into the clean-up crew because it want cost them anything. I'm sure we'll be able to sell alot and work on our budgets that four hours that the store isn't even open. Why should a hand full of people have to do what the whole team should be responsible for?

Just a though, since the salary people are not properly compenstaed for their overtime, what if they refused to do that. We are told we have to strictly adhere to corporate schedules, so that would not be in the corporate scheduling. After all, if they fire you, sounds like a good chance for unemployment, and with the economy, you can soak them for the full time pretty easy. Also another nice hit to Lowe's, and extra fuel for the law suit
Later all
