| Kinda, but I'd rather hear it played closer to the holiday. |

CHRISTMAS MUSIC STARTED PLAYING IN THE STORE TODAY!!!
I nearly turned around and walked back into the parking lot -- and through three busy lanes of traffic -- when my ears were assaulted this morning.
Only like, NINE, weeks of this to go!

Ours started Nov. 1st. It's limited right now (like every other song...or is it every few songs?), but I did groan very loudly when I came in and heard "I saw mommy kissing santa claus" on the intercomm. Oi.

We have it playing too. It's so ironic..... Xmas music is supposed to make the public and we employees feel good but the lack of suffiecient stock help and the constant nagging from mgmnt. just make you want to quit.

I've been a Joni Mitchell fan for decades now, but what kills me is the song, "River" is played at this time of year. It has NOTHING to do with Christmas. Joni tells of a lost relationship.

I can understand trying to get into the christmas spirit, but MY GAWD!!!! can't it wait till DAT!!!!!!! on the other hand, it's soooooooo much better than hearing "come together" every other freakin song!!!! Glad that's over with! By the way, did anyone have a favorite version? LOL! I wish they would've just played the Beatles version.

I've got an idea! How about John Lennon's, "Happy Christmas (Was is Over)"?

You wouldn't mind if the played something a little different but it's been the same playlist for like the past 8 years (maybe longer).

first of all, i didn't really hear the come together song till you all brought it to my attention.
thanks so much.
and today !!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. all of a sudden, i stopped in my tracks. is that what i think it is ??? it ,,,,,it can't be. am i really hearing "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" !!!! then later i hear a winter wonderland. each time i brought it to the attention of the customers, they groaned loudly with me.
just like MAY co. did it for years, it's every 5th or 6th song....peppered in so you don't really notice it. they are working on subliminal levels here, folks.
don't let them do it. they'll take over our brain before all is said and done. and the decorations are being put fast and furious !!!!
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa make it stop. please.

If you listen carefully, they occasionally play the same songs back to back; for example, they would play "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Judy Garland, followed by the exact same song by another artist.
