Lowes, well my Lowes, has some really cool people, but my DM is the most anal person I know. He has no character or humor and his life revolves around the dept, every day he is off you can bet on him showing up. What a life (or lack of one) to have, bearing down on me and the others, interrogating everything we do and always assuming we are doing it somehow different from "the right way". I had just transferred thinking this would be better. Man I never could imagine putting in so much hard work for a company only to get disrespected. I am told, not asked, to work past my schedule if I have a little time left, schedule changes in the blink of an eye every week, contradicting everything I say, and when I talk to upper mgmt. I get the usual speel about how he has so much to do and take care of, and I need to work harder. Typical stuff, not unlike anything that has already been posted. Put in my notice for the end of this month. Gotta use my college education some time soon!
Sometimes I wonder if I should fight the system and speek what is right, but it wouldn't do any good. They just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
