| I've been looking a news source that kept that story open to public but shear lack of stories on major news sights has me wondering if the owners are worried about loosing advertising $$$ from Home Depot.Or I wonder if HD went as far as too actually threaten anyone who did post or broadcast a story. | |

I work(ed) for a large retail chain and had been caught with a blogger on my own personal website that lambasted some of the crap that was going on in my store.
I mentioned that I worked for that company but did NOT mention coworker's names or the managers..nor even specifically what store/city/etc. It was found out and while I wasn't fired, I was demoted (moved from office work back to the retail floor, no pay change as it wasn't technically a demotion). My life was made miserable by the treatment I received from certain supervisors & I finally quit several months later... |

| How did they (the proverbial "THEM") discover your identity? Was it traced to your home somehow? I bet someone who knew it was your website squealed on you to management, maybe mgt. asked around (offered a reward of sorts - s'been done). | |
