I for one, don't buy the argument espoused by the democratic presidential candidates that the president misled them about WMD's being in Iraq. In fact, the members of Congress were shown the EXACT same intelligence reports prior to voting for the action against Iraq...including Senator Kerry. They overwhelming voted to give the president the authority to go into Iraq.
Here is my problem with politics in general. President Bush has not wavered in his decision making, but the members of congress seem to be swayed by whatever the "popular" decision is at the time. The men we vote into office should not bow to political pressure but stand by their decisions...even the tough decisions.

Here Here, that was a great point to make. Right or wrong make a decision and stand by it. I think the decision made by Bush about Iraq was the correct one. Even Clinton said in a speech late in 2002 that he belived that Iraq had and were developing WMD's. If our intelligence was wrong, so was every other agency in the world. The Israelis have a vested interest in getting the correct intel on their nieghbors and they were convinced the WMD's were in Iraq. Bush made the decision and has not waivered in his conviction that it was right. Not like some political canidates that saw the same intel and voted for the war, but now, because it is in what they feel is their own interest, condem the President for making the world a little safer.

Well said by both of you.
The question remains : WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?
Everyone knew they were there at one point, and they
are still in play somewhere.
Democrats would have us let the UN worry about it.
They, sadly, are willing to sacifice US citizens, on the
home front, in order to regain political power.
Treason. Harsh yes, but it applies.

I don't know if we will ever know the answer of whether WMD existed or not. I don't know if we will ever find them if they did. What I do know is this.
With Saddam Hussein in power, the likelihood of there being WMD was very great and the likelihood of him getting his hands on them if he didn't, was even greater.
He was a dictator that needed to be stopped. Mission accomplished. The time to take action is not after millions are killed and a maniac has run amuk (see Hitler and Germany).
Kudos to George Bush and Company for taking decisive action and removing a threat to world peace.
