Friends of mine had worked for Wards several years. I remember changes they made years before they closed. Sears is following the exact pattern as Wards. Getting rid of certain depts, centralized cash wraps, selling credit. It's all happening in the exact same order. I really hope the outcome is not the same.

It is if you keep doing the same stupid things you will get the same results. Sears loves to copy other stores, they really need to look at Circuit City's number since they screwed with the employees. Since Lacy has taken over we have had nothing but drops, wonder why.

Interestingly enough, I saw a story on the Sears Intranet the other day about Circuit City's plans to pattern themselves after Sears. I didn't have the time to read the story for specifics but it was refreshing to see someone looking to copy us for a change.
Did any of you get a chance to read the details?
