Does anyone know what the deal is with the Elite. Now they are backordered till the August. Is it still a thing with parts from Whirlpool. I dont know for me, I love the Elite so I tend to really do good at selling it. I just love it. It is so much nice then the Conquest. I have so many top Elites not delivered so I upgraded them to the one with the inside water dispenser availabilty is right away. Today you could not order the one without water at all. Just wonder if you know anything

I posted about this subject under the land's end thread because that's where realstuff replied to a question I had about the TMHT program.
But, anyone can reply to me here, there, or anywhere.

Since we don't have any TMHT, I have decided to sell anything not nailed down. From now on, if it's not in an ad, or one of our best sellers, and a customer wants it today, it's gone. I think lowmorale was the one who suggested to sell the one up for the same price. Done. Two prices up? Split the difference. Noone walks without an appliance on their back (or drives without one in their truck). The ASM worries so much about the DM coming and finding empty holes. I think I'd worry more if he comes and finds no sales.

Yup, I think I kind of missed the boat on that one. I now go by the policy, "If you don't want the answer, don't ask the question."

That is incorrect. This sites' bills are paid by a single person who happens to work in retail too. The rest of us are unpaid volunteers.
I'd appreciate it if you'd get your facts straight before posting this kind of stuff. |
SleK, if I am wrong, I am wrong. If I am wrong, I apoligize. If I am wrong, and you do not expect future comepensation in kind or in fact from a Labour union, you are either indepently wealthy or an activist.... If you are indeed an activist, I applaud you, and I'm serious.
Either way, this forum is a good thing.... just don't edit it to death.

I see that some of the "HardHeads" wish to play.

For "slek",

Apology accepted.

Independantly wealthy? Far from. I work retail. I make under $13 per hour CAD (which is what? Like a dollar and a half US? ). "Activist" is a little more on the mark. If you'd care to do a little background research, you'll see that I've actually been sued by a labour union for my activities online.

I appreciate your sincerity, but I'm just the web geek. If anyone should be applauded it should be siggy: who funds this whole operation, was a founding member of MFD and also happens to be my Mother.

Nice move ( queen to r-3, lost?),
Take`um, if they leave`m.
This came to mind, and it was late.
No foul words here, just thoughts. (think, how you must)
Bold is bold, but, truth is real.
Intellihence=
(see "knowlage" and "thought").
Now think for yourself.

It is amazing that I have to go to a Sears disgruntle website to find out that the take me home is suppose to already be in the stores after loosing five or six appliance sales last week. I have alot of apartment long term customers I deal with that need them yesterday. So I went in yesterday printed one of those for each appliance department they were as shocked as me. I then went to my bc he said we have washer and dryers we are not going to be carrying all of these we do not have the room. I am like what!!! So there it is!!

This board thrives on rumor and inuendo.
"Footie"[/quote]
I agree Footie. Rumors and inuendo thrive in any democracy. Once a statement is thrown into the mix here it can be challenged and the facts researched. I'd rather hear the rumors than nothing at all. I take it all with a grain of salt until the facts are revealed but without starting points many issues may never be discovered.

Well, we know now. So, we can take matters into our own hands. One thing I like about this job is that you write your own paycheck. But, if you have incompetent management, you have to overcome some obstacles or you lose money. I appreciate this site helping me learn what I can't at my own store!

I see some things never change. We get a hot item, advertise it, and sell out in the first hour or so of the ad.
When will we learn? Well, now that Stores Own Sales, if you see inadequate stock levels, let your replenisher know!!
"Footie" |
We have left it up in our store. ASM of that area has had conversations with the replenisher, we had stock to start the ad Sat am....store had a great day!!!

So ask your ASM why you didn't have them. Push your ASM a bit on the issue, don't get a reasonable answer, go ask your SGM....he/she should be able to answer your question....first place to check is RIM, does the computer think you have them?
