how about just saying, buy from me, don't ask me about the prdduct since I haven't bothered to learn about it and don't forget to buy the pa. don't ask me about the pro's or con's i didn't study up and that either. I just want to pay my bills and put some food on the table and then you can have the good life at sears 'cause i was your sales associate...... |
then we could be even more like walmart.

If we are going to be more like wally world we need to have greeters who don't greet you anymore. We need food aisles, we need people calling over the intercom all the time. oh yeah we already have that now. We need so many items you don't know where to go first. we need self serve check out lanes. we need carts. oh yeah we have those already.
but let's face it you can ask an employee of wallyworld where something is and they usually can tell you which aisle it is in.
our employees are lucky to know what is in their dept.

speaking of walmart, whats the deal with them selling items for $13.47 or $16.81??? it's annoying enough that everywhere else you go you see everything ending in 99 cents. it's almost as if it's a way for them to hide money easier, like that scam from "office space" where they round up to the next decimal point when applying tax.

i don't really know. I only go there to buy things i can't buy at sears. was i supposed to look at the prices and realize the ending amount. sorry wasn't that observant. I only notice how they do not know how to call over the pa system...more like shouting real fast and it is very aggravating.....i hate this behaviour. it seems they are constantly calling someone.... they even call for the depts. to come to check out lanes to put away their junk.....gosh.

not a big fan of the place either, but when i sit down and think about it, sometimes we have the same problems they do. Improper intercom use, store not clean as should be, not enough people... atleast we tend to get customers run up faster now that this CSM thing is going on.... in our store atleast if we have too many people in line, we can call on a CSM who is usally willing to help out.

I was referring to when e had the stars on the ceiling. It was a dumb idea. The stars were never near the phone and at that time you were secret shop on the phone and had three rings to get to it.

The reference to stars (on page two of this subject) was, I believe, to the yellow die-cut starbursts that could be written on with a black marker and stuck on clearance merchandise! It was an eye-catcher and we made sure the store was full of them when we had our special sales days.

My bad. Thought he meant the ones we had that we were always on the point.
