In our store early retirement, in 20 they have gone from seven to two in one month. 57 they train them get one check they are gone. Just the ones with more then ten years hanging on for dear life. In all dept the pressure is too much all gone and going faster as people are doing resumes and looking. Most are thinking that home depot is looking better. The last MA meeting we were told if you are talked to more then three times your gone this comes from higher up. Even though we are number two in the district the threats were heavy and very stressful. From what I hear from our SGM, turnover is extremely high all over and our store is no exception. They (mangement) are supposed to be treating "us" better so that we will stay. This is straight from the horse's mouth.
But as far as I'm concerned it's too little, too late. After 27 years, I have had enough. Even I am sending out resumes and filling out apps..
I don't know if I'll get any offers, but I'll keep trying.

Sunday we had two of the newbies, it seems like they will take anything that can past the test these days. Anyway right in front of customers they were calling each other names it led to a pushing shove match saying lets take it out side. This is no kididng!!! The one good employee in 20 took the customer over at this point and took them to another register. I forgot to ask her if she took the sale which I hope she did. It was not even over commission it was over the product one butted in to the others sale about the product. It was unreal, management got into yesterday. DO not know what happen, but my feeling is they both should be FIRED, IMMEDIATELY one is here two months the other about four. Both knew it ALL

PS - we are a B store.
